Use Google Apps

To Access Google Applications

  1. Log in to your UC email account at http://mail.uc.apu.edu.
  2. Once inside UC email click on the tiled button tile icon next to your email address in the upper-right hand corner and click on the icon for the application you want to use (see below).

To set up simply visit http://www.youtube.com, click Sign in in the top-right corner, and enter your UC Email Account login information (as if you were logging into your email). That’s it.

  1. Click Upload
  2. Select file for Upload - Locate and select video file on your computer
  3. Enter video upload details, such as title, description, tags (optional)
  4. Set Privacy Settings to Unlisted
  5. Category: Education
  6. Highlight and copy the link displayed next to the video filename at the top of the window (see screen shot below).

  7. Navigate to your discussion forum, click on the link to reply or post a new discussion topic.
  8. Paste the link into the message section of your discussion post.
  9. Insert any additional text required in the Message window and click the "Post to forum button.”

An unlisted video is a type of private video that only people who know the link to the video can view it. An unlisted video will not appear in any of YouTube's public spaces (such as search results, your channel, or the Browse page). An unlisted video is different to a private video in two ways, you don’t need a YouTube account to view and there is no 50 person sharing limit. To change your video privacy options in YouTube:

  1. Click My Channel
  2. Choose Video Manager (located next to your subscriber count).


  3. Click on the blue Lock icon for the video you need to share



  4. Change the Private dropdown to Unlisted.



  5. Click the blue Save changes button.
